6 May 2010 - TradeLawGuide adds content from 128 historic GATT 1947 and GATT Code (pre-WTO) reports. This is the historic "caselaw" that pre-dated the WTO. As articulated by the Appellate Body, these historic documents are an important part of the GATT acquis and provide useful guidance for the WTO. The new content comprises summaries, key findings and Article Citator data.

TradeLawGuide is a comprehensive database with a powerful new type of search engine that searches across PDF files of official awards, decisions and other WTO documents and ‘notes up’ (that is, ‘shepardizes’ in American terms) WTO decisions by tracking how subsequent WTO reports, awards and decisions have considered specific passages in WTO jurisprudence. The database features a citator that collects all jurisprudence under a treaty provision for the WTO system. The search is powerful, contextual and time saving.
March 2010 - TradeLawGuide launches its on-line Learning Centre. It is available on the public main page and the subscriber pages. It provides instructional videos and manuals for its tools and how to use those tools to research WTO law in a methodical and efficient manner.
4 November 2009 - On November 4th 2009, a request for consultations was circulated to the WTO Members regarding the 400th WTO dispute, European Communities - Measures Prohibiting the Importation and Marketing of Seal Products (DS400). TradeLawGuide salutes the vitality of the WTO dispute settlement mechanism and its success in resolving trade disputes and facilitating international trade.
25 September 2009 - TradeLawGuide introduces a fully annotated text of the Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS Agreement). The text contains annotations from WTO reports, awards and decisions that interpret and apply specific provisions of the SPS Agreement. Also included are cross-references to related provisions, TLG's Article Citator, the Uruguay Round negotiating history of each provision and various links to external resources. These detailed annotations are a valuable resource for researching SPS issues. This new text supplements the other annotated texts on TradeLawGuide.
22 May 2009 - TradeLawGuide provides demonstration in London at the Ninth Annual WTO Conference hosted by the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (http://www.biicl.org/).
30 March 2009 - Greg Tereposky, the Editor of TradeLawGuide, returns from Geneva after providing demonstrations to the WTO, WTI, ACWL, government delegations and law firms. All reviews were very positive and many were amazed by the features offered.
2 March 2009 - TradeLawGuide introduces the Subject Navigator. The Subject Navigator is an innovative index that serves as a gateway to the specific provisions of WTO agreements and instruments and other subject matter.

2 June 2008 – TradeLawGuide has initiated its beta program. The intent is to allow for individuals to provide feedback to assist us as we finalize the site features and infrastructure operations. TradeLawGuide is said to offer research functions that recast and expand upon existing tools, while using innovative web-based technologies (patent pending) that offer a new level of depth, comprehensiveness, speed and precision in researching WTO law.
